Realization

Though I have already heard these before, but because of circumstances, I clearly understand these now. Sometimes, I see things as disappointments, things far beyond my expectation and opposite to what I think to happen. There are truly purposes for these and I, at times, can’t understand. The ONE who purposely gave these is just concern on how I respond to those I labeled as circumstances.

God is opening opportunities one by one in His perfect time to actually grow in this transient life. That opportunity may sometimes fall as problems – difficult to handle – and if you went through this unmoved you will then realized the opportunity has just got to you. This might be of benefits to evaluate what to do, what will be the respond, is there a need to change, and if so what are they?

Problems are actually an opportunity. Without it, you will not be cultured. This doesn’t mean that this already is everything. God is enough and He is everything to us. But He uses these for us to grow in accordance to His will.

Through these, I realize many things and as my opening statement, this is not far from my understanding before, but every situation speaks of the opportunity God wants me to have CLEARLY – to cultivate the character and the leadership I have right now. This one is written in general. This is not applicable only to one aspect, but whether this be accepted or not, it is connected to every aspects of life; thus, applicable.

I understand that nothing in this world is permanent as change. Change is constant and it has responds. And every occurrences of change will define the character. So I concluded to do something wisely before taking the step to respond. At first, perhaps, we might be the victim of it, but as the process continue, you will of course evaluate, decide and take the necessary step until you become good to it.

In leadership, there are different ways to lead, according to the call. But if there’s a need to change, then evaluate and change. Humility and acknowledgment to mistakes are good to this area. There’s always SOMEONE up there who will do His part. Other has their point, but make sure to always evaluate everything, and do not try to please people because that is something different. Having the opportunity in leadership means the opportunity to be shape – the character and the responds will be shape.

Every destructive criticism must not affect our leadership; we must learn to be passive sometimes (not at all times) so our ways may not be compromised. We know very well what we are doing and its purpose, as individual knows very well of its own than of the other. If other sees it differently, then focus and continue to evaluate. Again, if change is needed, do so. We are always in the process and not finished yet. The perfection of one will only happen when Christ returns. Only one is perfect, we must not be deceived.

There are times that other will throw hurtful words against you and it is unavoidable. If they are under you, you don’t need to explain anything, unless necessary. Sometimes, you just have to be silent and it is the best thing to do. Just listen and again evaluate, then change if valid. Trust God and do no revenge. But as leader, you are accountable to the one above you.

I also realized how hard it is being in leadership. You can’t please everyone and so you still have to continue win them. You must be approachable but tough as well; you must be soft but firm as well. You have to share your visions and plans to them but you have to be reserved as well, meaning quiet. You really have to weigh things up. There are a lot of sacrifices, such as friendship and trust. Eyeing for a better result but not everyone sees the process of attaining this as opportunity, instead felt as aggravated.

But I am not quitting, I am facing this as challenge and I am starting to realize this as second to nothing. There are much more in the future – the life eternity, the highest calling. Through the grace of God, mind will be transformed that in every negative thing, I will think and look forward for the positive result it will bear. Because in everything it has a purpose.

I am so grateful having people who are wise, unbiased and concerned – I consider them advisers. I admire having their lives available to people, to help them grow. They are ministers and they are close to me. Yes, I am totally dependent to God and to the Holy Spirit. But still grateful, I believe they are God’s instrument to those who can’t stand yet.

I am always grateful.

I was asked to create a video as to be presented today, July 18. The video must speaks appreciation to my dad – my pastor as well. Since he is our local church senior pastor, the video will be presented in front of the congregation and to him. It was actually a surprise event for him. And yes, he was really surprised and in tears.

I had a busy week and I just started working on the task 8 hours before the video being presented. It was 12mn July 18 when I begin and finished it 4am the same day. I don’t had enough time to create a good one but i am proud to say it comes from my heart, i was sleepy and so tired then since prior to the making i came from the gym where i have been for my weekly workout.

While the making was going on, I was in tears – so much in tears. I realized my dad is getting older, and on July 25 he will be in his 60s. I realized many things. I am not that close to him and i think he deserve my love and my care. I have been so reserved and feels so far away from him. He is 34 years in service for our Lord Jesus Christ. I’m so much amazed how wonderful God has doing in my life, how God mold me through my father. Dad was very strict to us when we were still young, i remember, and that almost leads me to hate him. I hope and pray God will give me the courage to face him showing how soft I am and care for him. I am ashamed to show that I care, only God knows but i know it is not enough and i have to really show it to him while there are still chances. God sees my heart for my dad. I am so broken but i told to myself, I will continue what Dad has started and what Dad trained us to be – a servant of God. Yeah, dad is a very humble man i can say it. He act as a firm, brave and strict leader to the people God entrusted to him, but, he is so humble to all of his leaders, and i salute him for that. I know it is not easy to care people but he did, patient yet he rebukes – and many misinterpret him for that. But i know the heart of my father, just he does care for the people.

The desires of my heart are known to Him and every thought I have. I am looking forward to achieve this goal and I am taking one step at a time. Perhaps this will be my greatest achievement for this quarter. Everything is by grace and I will have it by grace.

Books for June

I am so excited again! I got these three new books… Something to read and helpful to myself. I wish to receive more books.

I, with my friends Agnes and Ivy, went to OMF Literature right after our work yesterday to buy some books. It was actually my first time to the store since I am familiar only with PCBS – I mean the location, but I already heard OMF even when I was still young. The moment I see the store I felt so happy and excited. The place was so nice and there are lots of books. I love the place, the aura, the music and especially the books. I wanted to buy them all… But ugh! Overrrrr! I only chose 2 books from OMF and almost decided to get a third one but my mind reminded me of next time. I wanted to get those leadership books of John Maxwell and a lot more. One book at a time… okay then!

The first book: Hope Again When Life Hurts and Dreams Fade by Charles R. Swindoll, the photo above. It was the first book I picked on the shelves, it catches my attention. The title says that I need it. I know the bible alone can answer all I need, whichever areas of life the Bible is the answer. I am so thankful God uses these people (authors) to share their personal encounter of it.

The book in the left side, I actually bought it last month, a week after I bought my new bible in PCBS. I decided to buy that book because I had hard times in pursuing my devotional time with God daily. The book named as “An Appointment with the King” by Joel Comiskey. And I will recommend this book to those who find Quiet time with God difficult.

The second book I bought yesterday was “Dawn Harvest” by Richard Hobbs. This book is applicable in Philippine Setting and my heart is for this country.

The following words are taken from the back of the book:

“How can one find hope and life in a place so frequently plagued by natural disasters? Who can bring dry bones back to life when all hope is gone? This book takes you into the life of Jun, a boy who grew up among the poorest of the poor. It is a book filled with discoveries of hope in suffering, freedom from bondage, and transformation beyond imagination when people encounter Jesus.”

Life oh Life!

Soo excited! I got this new book known as the food of my Spirit last May 14, Friday…

my bible and my journal

my bible

Well, my week started actually last Sunday when I woke up. I was awaken from my sleep when I heard someone calls my name, my full name “Rhoda Maniquez” – a male voice, called me once only, then I woke up and tried to find where the voice came from. But no one was inside the room but me alone. I remember my brother is in Manila and only my dad is with us in the house for the time being. My experience/feeling that morning is different from of the other mornings. I felt the joy within me and I do not know its full reasons. That voice, I’m wondering who? I was not dreaming but I got to my conscious when I heard the voice. But suddenly God reminded me the story of Samuel. When Samuel was sleeping he heard someone was calling his name, Samuel Samuel; he didn’t realize it until Eli told him it was God, after that, the joy I have received increases. For the first time I heard the voice of my Savior. But I hadn’t stop there, I asked my dad if he called me that morning, he told me he didn’t. I shared it to my mom and she told me that I supposed to answer that voice “Here I am Lord, Your servant, what it is that you want?” I missed it but God is faithful and I know it. The joy that I received was precious from the time I woke up till I lead the worship, till the class I have attended, meeting and until the day was over – I had the joy to endure. I am so grateful and I am one of the blessed privileged women on this earth. Thanks J.

Here’s my day 1 experience (Monday): When I woke up I still didn’t know what to pray but I asked God to lead me of whatever He wants… The Lord said seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all theses thing shall be added unto you. He is as faithful as always, whenever you asked, He provides. In every thing I do, in every move I make God is speaking. I prayed the usual prayer but I didn’t have a special request yet for Day 1. As I was riding a jeepney through the office, God was quietly revealing the things to pray and it was consistent for the whole day the same thing I always see – it’s the coming election. Who to vote? Until now I am confused who will I vote, and in general, the election itself. God spoke in the way He wanted. We cannot just have our own choice then let God bless the choice we choose, no it’s not… it must be always His will be done.

Today, I proved and affirmed many things about God, even though I heard and confessed it already before, but then He proved to me that He is a God who always provides. Thanks J.

I would rather to…

I’d rather to keep silent, than to say senseless words
I’d rather sing than being affected of this world
I’d rather pray than to complain
I’d rather worship God than making someone priority
when I am just an option to them
I’d rather give him praise than being hurt…

Life is a gift to enjoy being in Christ…

Heartbreaking Story

Olympics are great and I am so much interested of this. Watching tv and updates from time to time are ones of the proofs of being into this. Olympic winter 2010 torch relays are cool; the place is great – Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. A friend who lives there was so proud and so excited boasting up to me her homeland; I am happy for her. Unfortunately, heartbreaking news I heard just today – Georgian luger Nodar Kumaritashvili’s death. Some may put the blame to Olympic, some to the organizers… But my prayers will be for all, peace and comforts… the least I can do.

May God will comfort Nodar’s families and friends and give them peace.

In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you
1 Thessalonians 5:18

It is about 3 am Saturday and I have realized that we only have 3 more days to be with my sister and she will be leaving to Saudi Arabia again, where she is practicing her profession as dentist. And it’s kinda weird and sad… I find myself crying now and i supposed to be sleeping, I will miss her again… I might not a good sister to her; I have done something unpleasant against her like not being patience; and so many more… but I’m gonna miss her… I am so much in tears now and it really breaks my heart :( really distressing and heartbreaking :(

In Your Freedom

I search for You God of strength
I bow to You in my brokenness
And no other King could have so humbly come
To save my soul and heal my heart
I have nothing more than all You offer me
There is nothing else that’s of worth to me
And I love You Lord
You rescued me
You are all that I want
You’re all that I need
I pray to You God of peace
I rest in You my cares released

In Your freedom I will live
I offer devotion

A Series of Choices

The thing you should want most is God’s kingdom
and doing what God wants.
Then all these other things you need will be given to you.

Matthew 6:33 NCV

Your life is a series of choices. From the instant you wake up in the morning until the moment you nod off to sleep at night, you make countless decisions—decisions about the things you do, decisions about the words you speak, and decisions about the way that you choose to direct your thoughts.

As a believer who has been transformed by the love of Jesus, you have every reason to make wise choices. But sometimes, when the daily grind threatens to grind you up and spit you out, you may make choices that are displeasing to God. When you do, you’ll pay a price because you’ll forfeit the happiness and the peace that might otherwise have been yours.

So, as you pause to consider the kind of Christian you are—and the kind of Christian you want to become—ask yourself whether you’re sitting on the fence or standing in the light. The choice is yours . . . and so are the consequences.

There may be no trumpet sound or loud applause when we make a right decision, just a calm sense of resolution and peace.
Gloria Gaither

The greatest choice any man makes is to let God choose for him.
Vance Havner

Life is pretty much like a cafeteria line—it offers us many choices, both good and bad. The Christian must have a spiritual radar that detects the difference not only between bad and good but also among good, better, and best.
Dennis Swanberg

Every day, I find countless opportunities to decide whether I will obey God and demonstrate my love for Him or try to please myself or the world system. God is waiting for my choices.
Bill Bright

Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, I have many choices to make. Help me choose wisely as I follow in the footsteps of Your only begotten Son. Amen

Mercy

“Ohhh Lord Your mercy save me”

I want to share this video to you. I pray this will give encouragement to you.

Here I am a sinner, broken and in need of you
Take my life and wash my fears away
For you are the great I am, rest assured I feel Your hands
Holding me until the darkness clears

Father to the fatherless, redeemer of my soul
My life is yours forever, my heart will always know

Your mercy saved me, mercy made me whole
Your mercy found me, called me as your own

Let My Words Be Few

You are God in heaven
And here am I on earth,
So I’ll let my words be few-
Jesus I am so in love with You.

And I’ll stand in awe of You,
Yes I’ll stand in awe of You,
And I’ll let my words be few-
Jesus I am so in love with You.

The simplest of all love songs
I want to bring to You,
So I’ll let my words be few-
Jesus I am so in love with You.

~Matt Redman

My faithfull Father, enduring friend
your tender mercy is like a river with no wind
it overwhelms me covers my sin
each time i come into your presence I stand in wonder once again

Oh patient savior, you make me whole
you are the author and the healer of my soul
what can i give you lord what can i say
i know there’s no way to repay you only to offer you my praise

your grace still amazes me
your love is still a mystery
each day i fall on my knees
’cause your grace still amazes me
your grace still amazes me

its deeper, its wider, its stronger, its higher
its deeper, its wider, its stronger, its higher
than anything my eyes can see

Time with God

Matthew 5:33-37

Again, you have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FALSE VOWS, BUT SHALL FULFILL YOUR VOWS TO THE LORD.’ But I say to you, make no oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, or by Jerusalem, for it is THE CITY OF THE GREAT KING. Nor shall you make an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your statement be, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil.

If you always say what you mean, then you don’t need to make vows, because people will know they can trust your word!

Let your “yes” mean “yes” and let your “no” mean “no”. We only create problems for ourselves when we try to deceive one another or tell “white lies” or exaggerate or downplay a serious situation.

If you are always honest and open about your statements and commitments, then you will have a reputation of credibility and people will know that they can take you at face value.

The Lord wants people to have confidence in you, because you represent Him. Is He calling you to speak with integrity in a certain situation in your life right now? Do it. Ask Him for the words and timing, but say what you mean.

Words for me today

Trust God and walk out of an unhealthy relationship that is slowly drying up my soul. God has something far better for me. He is just waiting for me to believe it.

From the article “Waiting for God’s “Immeasurably More”

Encouragement for us

God knows life can be difficult and He has given many promises and words of encouragement for those who belong to Him – you, Juan Carlos, you belong to God. Let us keep our faith to Him. I quoted out verses from the bible for you, please read them all.

Deuteronomy 7:9
Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Philippians 3:13-14
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Psalm 42:5-6a
Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

John 16:33
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. -Jesus

Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Psalm 119:50
My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.

Psalm 138:7
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

Psalm 31:24
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Mixed Mood

I am so happy tonight. My King gave it to me. However, it is different from the mood I had 9-10 hours ago. I was so disappointed. In all my life, I prefer a person would tell me the truth than giving me every reason she or he may have just to escape. I don’t like the idea of giving or offering some deal/agreement then breaking it in the agreed time. I am not saying that one has no rights of doing so, but I think it is better to let the person involve with the agreement know beforehand. This is better though than saying invalid reasons. Maybe your reasons are true, but try to weigh them up if there are valid and worthy to tell…

Thus, I was aware of the responses I made. I know these were all wrong. I know. I should have controlled myself, but I failed. I failed because of the anger and I wanted to explode, and it happened. Tears burst out from my eyes, sniffs and other manifestation… It is so hard for me, and now I regret everything.

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience

While I’m waiting
I will serve You
While I’m waiting
I will worship
While I’m waiting
I will not faint
I’ll be running the race
Even while I wait

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it’s not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait

Listen to the song

My most favorite part of the movie, Fireproof, it really made my tears fall

How grateful I am to you J, thank you so much

When I Cry

Makin’ a list of all of the good things you’ve done for me.
Lord, I’ve never been one to complain.
But, right now I’m lost, and I can’t find my way.
My world’s come apart, and it’s breakin’ my heart.
But it helps to know; Your heart is breaking too.

When I cry, You cry. When I hurt, You hurt.
When I’ve lost someone, it takes a piece of You too.
And when I fall on my face, You fill me with grace.
‘Cause nothing breaks Your heart, or tears You apart
Like when I cry.

Alone in the dark, face in my hands cryin’ out to You.
Lord, there’s never been a time in my life,
There’s so much at stake, there’s so much to lose.
But I trust it to You. You’ll bring me through.
And it helps me to know that I’m not alone.

When I cry, You cry. When I hurt, You hurt.
When I’ve lost someone, it takes a piece of You too.
And when I fall on my face, You fill me with grace.
‘Cause nothing breaks Your heart, or tears You apart
Like when I cry.

You’re the one who calmed the raging sea.
You’re the one who made the blind to see.
You looked through all of heaven and eternity,
And through it all you saw me.

When I cry, You cry. When I hurt, You hurt.
When I’ve lost someone, it takes a piece of You too.
And when I fall on my face, You fill me with grace.
Nothing breaks Your heart, or tears You apart
Like when I cry. MMMmmmm

Fireproof

Fireproof is the title of the movie in which our church mate recommended me to watch and gave me the copy. I stored the movie in my dad’s laptop. I think that was 7 months ago. He told me that the movie was awesome. I don’t know the reason but I haven’t taken any of my time to watch the movie until Monday this week (August 3). I have the opportunity to watch the movie on our first Hubport Fellowship. The movie was so awesome and inspiring love story. It was really so good. Honestly, it inspires me a lot. And I recommend this movie for you to watch, you won’t regret it. Thanks J.

Here’s the trailer of the movie, Fireproof:

Fireproof Synopsis:

At work, inside burning buildings, Capt. Caleb Holt lives by the old firefighter’s adage: Never leave your partner behind. At home, in the cooling embers of his marriage, he lives by his own rules.

After seven years of marriage, Caleb and Catherine Holt have drifted so far apart that Catherine wishes she had never married. Neither one understands the pressures the other faces-he as firefighter and she as the public relations director of a hospital. Regular arguments over jobs, finances, housework, and outside interests have readied them both to move on to something with more sparks.

As the couple prepares to enter divorce proceedings, Caleb’s father challenges his son to commit to a 40-day experiment he calls “The Love Dare.” Wondering if it’s even worth the effort, Caleb agrees, but more for his father’s sake more than for his marriage. When Caleb discovers the book’s daily challenges are tied into his parents’ newfound faith, his already limited interest is further dampened.

While trying to stay true to his promise, Caleb becomes frustrated time and again. He finally asks his father, “How am I supposed to show love to somebody who constantly rejects me?”

fireproof

When his father explains that this is the love God shows to us, Caleb makes a life-changing commitment to love God. And-with God’s help-he begins to understand what it means to truly love his wife.

But is it too late to fireproof his marriage? His job is to rescue others. Now Caleb Holt is ready to face his toughest job ever … rescuing his wife’s heart.

While hoping The Love Dare has nothing to do with his parents’ newfound faith, Caleb commits to the challenge. But can he attempt to love his wife while avoiding God’s love for him? Will he be able to demonstrate love over and over again to a person that’s no longer receptive to his love? Or is this just another marriage destined to go up in smoke?

July New Things

It was early of July when I scanned the Natasha catalogue of shoes, and there were some shoes there that I really like. I am more on flats, and I see a lot of flats there and decided to order instead of going to shop in malls which I have no time to do…

The following are my choices and I already got them all… jajaja…

First choice: named comfee and has a bronze color… I am really comfortable with this flat shoe

070820091600708200916107082009162

Second choice: named as Georgette and has a beige color… I like this most and so when I first used the shoe my officemate has stepped on my shoe accidentally yet with force and got the shoe scratches – just a light scratch, anyway I got another one to have the perfect one being reserved. I have 2 Georgette as my collection… jajaja…

070920091760709200917507092009174

The third choice, is not a Natasha shoes, it’s sundance named as rufina. I love it also but until now I haven’t wear them yet. It’s a sandal rather, and I find it good in shorts and skirts. I’ll wear them soon… jajaja

070920091700709200917107092009172

Fourth choice named as Maxime – Natasha. It’s made with style, super curve with a purpose. It has a bronze color also. I’m not into bronze, isn’t it? Hehehehe… several of my shoes has a bronze color… maybe I’m attracted with this color.

072920092400729200923807292009236

The last shoe I got for this month of July named as academe, I purposely order it for my British Council thing. I need a comfortable black shoe. It’s time to replace the pointed and high heel shoe; it was really tiring for me after work….

073020092500730200924907302009248

Do I sound like the wife of our late president? hehehe… Noo, she has a lot more… But I’m looking forward for the coming months… God bless everyone

I am just starting counting my blessings from this month forward…

Sweet Surrender

It’s not a mysterious wind, and
It’s not the thunder willing in
It’s the spirit that I feel within that’s calling
I understand but I can’t explain
Now I see love in a different way
And with the sing leap the faith
I’m falling
Into Your loving arms
Showing no resistance
There’s a peace that flows over me

Sweet surrender
Love me tender
You have captured my desire and heart completely
Sweet surrender
Yours forever
I will gladly give my all to You
Receive me
Oh Lord I am Yours

Your love of us has no escape
But I don’t feel the need to run away
My heart has found a place to stay here with You
Nothing else could satisfy
The deep void that I had inside
From all the multiple battles I had lived through

Now here in Your loving arms
I have gone the distance
I will rest my soul in Your embrace

‘Cause I have gone the distance
I will rest my soul in Your embrace

Love is like a stapler. it’s easy to attach but hard to detach. And the worst is, when you’re able to detach it, it still leaves the paper “DAMAGED”.

The nails in Jesus’ hands – touching the world

Hebrews 12:24 (NKJV)
“…to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.”

All Power of Christianity is found only in the cross
The blood of Jesus has a great power

Jesus came to the earth to touch us:

hand

Loneliness
Broken-hearted
To set us free
Healing
Depression

A. JESUS IS OUR EXAMPLE

Psalms 22:16 (NIV)
“Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet. “

Definition of Touch – to come into or be in contact with; to affect with same feeling or emotion; a make difference.

Bible Verses that shows Jesus had reached His hands out to touch: You may click the verse to read the whole of it.

Matthew 8:1-3 (NIV)
Matthew 8:14-15 (NIV)
Luke 7:12-15(NIV)

The devil had Jesus hands nailed to the cross to try to keep Him from touching the world

B. PRAY FOR JESUS TO TOUCH THE WORLD

Acts 4:29-30 (NIV)
Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

The church learned how to pray that the Lord would touch the world.
It is by the power of the blood that was shed from Jesus’ hands that He can touch the world.

C. BE JESUS HANDS

Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV)
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.

Jesus wants to use your hands to touch the world.
Through that nail the gifts of the Holy Spirit release to the church

I Corinthians 12:4-11
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.

John 14:12
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

I will praise You Lord my God
Even in my brokenness
I will praise You Lord
I will praise You Lord my God
Even in my desperation
I will praise You Lord

And I can’t understand
All that You allow
I just can’t see the reason
But my life is in Your hands
And though I cannot see You
I choose to trust You

Even when my heart is torn I will praise (trust) You Lord
Even when I feel deserted I will praise (trust) You Lord
Even in my darkest valley I will praise (trust) You Lord
And when my world is shattered and it seems all hope is gone
Yet I will praise You Lord

I will trust You Lord my God
Even in my loneliness
I will trust You Lord
I will trust You Lord my God
Even when I cannot hear You
I will trust You Lord

And I will not forget
That You hung on a cross
Lord You bled and died for me
And if I have to suffer
I know that You’ve been there
And I know that You’re here now

Beyond Words

Well if you only knew the pain that I’ve been through
Since when did it become all about you
As you can see from the start I’ve said the truth
But if the truth means nothing to you
Then what am i supposed to do?

And ill still love you
Beyond what words will say
I’ll take your every suffering moment
And bring a better day
I’ll still love you
More then what i hope to be
Let me wrap my arms around you
Let me take your breath away

And every time i ask
You assure your doing fine
But your heart looks good by smiling
You couldn’t fool mine
By the end of the night your pillow sits to dry
In a crowded room your singing
On the inside you cry

In a ball room there is dancing
In a forest there are trees
In a child theres a hope
That keeps him in believe
With any star there is a sky
With any beach theres a sea
With any love song theres a lover
And in your heart i hope its….

Another worship song by Hillsong Music Australia called “Take All of Me”. Song for the broken one. Brokenness doesn’t mean only of being broken from someone whom you are related with. It has a lot of meaning too. And this song is perfect to sing to God in times of such situation. Thanks Jesus for those people who has your gifts to write such songs. This is perfect when seems we can’t bear everything happening around us. Lord, You are perfect and I am not, still, You are there for me. I love You. Here’s the lyrics:

You broke the night like the sun
And healed my heart with Your great love
Any trouble I couldn’t bear
You lifted me upon Your shoulders

Love that’s stronger
Love that covers sin
And takes the weight of the world

I love You
All of my hope is in You
Jesus Christ take my life
Take all of me

You stand on mountain tops with me
With You I walk through the valleys
Your grace is all I rely on

I love You so, and I give up my heart to say
I need You so, my everything

All I Need

Another song i wanted to share by Rita Springer called “All I Need”… I have a link here to post for you to listen the song instead of pulling them from youtube… Wow, this song is so perfect… the lyrics taught me what to do in this time of my sufferings and i believe God is working inside of me. He is molding my life. He beautify it with this sufferings and brokenness i have… His hands is working… He is my potter… I am the clay. Lord, here I am… It will not last, it will never last… and i will be facing the world with perfect strength, with perfect faith with perfect hope and with perfect You, My Maker.

Click Here to Listen “All I Need” by Rita Springer

All I need to do is worship
All I need to do is say His name out loud
All I need to do is lift my hands, surrender
And bow down
All I need to do is find Him
All I need to do is let His presence fall
All I need to do is worship
Worship the Lord

When there’s no way out
Except through a miracle
When there’s no way up a mountain
Except to climb it
When everything you hope for
Seems gone
And every dream you’ve dreamed
Is so far away, that’s when I say..

Worth It All

I would like to share this song by Rita Springer entitled “Worth It All”. This song is very inspiring. Whatever sufferings and trials we face, it is worth it when we will meet Christ. Lord, you give me strength in moment like this, in moment i feel like everything is going not right, You are always there to remind me. To remind Your love, to remind your blood. It has been given for me and to all of us. Enjoy listening.

I don’t understand Your ways
Oh but I will give You my song
Give You all of my praise
You hold on to all my pain
With it You are pulling me closer
And pulling me into Your ways

Now around every corner
And up every mountain
I’m not looking for crowns
Or the water from fountains
I’m desperate in seeking, frantic believing
That the sight of Your face
Is all that I need
I will say to You

It’s gonna be worth it
It’s gonna be worth it
It’s gonna be worth it all
I believe this

It was really a sacrifice for me to do the video presentation for the father’s day event on Sunday to present in the church. Why? It was because of the things happened to me in the past few days that still bothers me until such time and those things that happened during that day (the day I was making the video). My mind was so troubled and I thought of going away or escaping to go away telling no one. But I conquered those feelings with the help of the blood of my creator, Jesus Christ. Therefore, I made it and it was so inspiring to see the smiles and laughs on their faces… I love all of you daddies… and I love you, my dad.

Fathers are wonderful people
Too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises
As often as we should…

For, somehow, Father seems to be
The man who pays the bills,
While Mother binds up little hurts
And nurses all our ills…

And Father struggles daily
To live up to “HIS IMAGE”
As protector and provider
And “hero or the scrimmage”…

IMG_0036

180120092808

And perhaps that is the reason
We sometimes get the notion,
That Fathers are not subject
To the thing we call emotion

But if you look inside Dad’s heart,
Where no one else can see
You’ll find he’s sentimental
And as “soft” as he can be…

But he’s so busy every day
In the grueling race of life,
He leaves the sentimental stuff
To his partner and his wife…

IMG_0292

But Fathers are just WONDERFUL
In a million different ways,
And they merit loving compliments
And accolade of praise

For the only reason Dad aspires
To fortune and success
Is to make the family proud of him
And to bring them happiness…

And like OUR HEAVENLY FATHER,
He’s a guardian and a guide,
Someone that we can count on
To be ALWAYS ON OUR SIDE.

The Blood That Was Shed From Jesus Face – For Self-Esteem

“To Jesus the mediator of a new covenant and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel” Hebrews 12:24 (NIV)

Self-Esteem is your opinion of yourself.
High self-esteem is a good opinion of yourself.
Low self-esteem is bad opinion of yourself.

So God created in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1:27-28

Because of sin, we loss that identity. Nowadays, many people are living in wrong identity, looking for that lost self image in;
Magazine, Hollywood, Showbiz – No contentment

Symptoms and consequences of low self-esteem
Marilyn J. Sorensen, PhD believes the following are the symptoms and consequences of low esteem:

A. Cognitive
• Faulty self image (the inaccurate view of oneself as inadequate, unlovable, unworthy, incompetent)
• Inability to discern who and when to trust
• Irrational and distorted (untrue/unproven negative statement to himself)
• Mind Reading and projection (thinks and believes that other view him in the same negative ways that he view himself)
• Overly critical of self and others
• Reactionary (overact to situations)
• Self-focused
• Unreasonable Expectations

1

B. Emotion
• Depression
• Discouragement
• Fear and Anxiety (making a mistake, being rejected looking foolish or inadequate)
• Hypersensitivity
• (Appearance of) Shyness

C. Behavioural
• Being needy
• Chaotic Relationship
• Defensiveness
• Eating Disorder
• Hyper-vigilance
• Perfectionism
• Poor communication
• Wearing a mask

Apply the blood that was shed from Jesus face

“…His appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and His form marred beyond human likeness…” Isaiah 52:14 (NIV)

The victory recognizes who you are in Christ
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalms 139:13-14

“I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13

Change your thoughts and beliefs
• Use hopeful statement
• Forgive yourself – everyone make mistakes
“I made a mistake but that doesn’t make me a bad person”
• Focus on the positive
• Encourage yourself
• Apply the blood that was shed from Jesus face

“If you have a high level of self esteem you will be confident, happy, highly motivated and have the right attitude to succeed”

The Blood Shed by the Crown of Thorns – For Prosperity and Conquest. This is the third series of the Power of the Blood.

Not without blood
“In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” Hebrew 9:22 (NIV)

…and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:24-25

2

In remembering the cross, the blood that spilled out from Jesus, what benefits us in our present situation? It saves us from:

1. Eternal Damnation
2. Sickness
3. Diseases
4. Curse
5. Poverty

“Not without blood”
“Everything has been done by the blood of Jesus Christ”

The most powerful and blessed nation in terms of finances was also hit and shaken by this present crisis (Global Financial Crisis) – America. Every nation is affected, and some of us have confessed we’re in crisis too. It seems that our God is too small that he cannot handle this problem, our faith is shaken, and we want to give up.

Our Hope is in the Blood of Jesus Christ
“… that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich”

How these things happen? In the Garden of Eden – everything were provided, abundance.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1:26; 28 (NIV)

Adam has the crown of the authority, dominion. They enjoy the blessings of God, not until Adam fall.

To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” Genesis 3:17-19

Because of sin, the ground was under cursed and Satan took the “crown of authority” (blessing)

Remember when satan tried to bargain Jesus in Luke 4:5-8: The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.

Satan was caught by his own foolishness. John 19:2-3: The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe and went up to him again and again, saying, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they struck him in the face.

The blood that dropped from the head of Christ wipes the thorns and thistles.
The blood breaks the curse of poverty, poverty mindset.
The blood conquered our prosperity and abundance.

Application
Apply the blood that shed out by the “crown of thorn” so that your finances will get healed.

It’s been a long time since I wrote the first series of Jesus’ blood that shed from His body. First series is for betrayal. Please click here if you haven’t read yet.

The BLOOD is “for you” and “to you”.

But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6 (NLT)

2

The Romans used a whip made of several strips of leather into which were embedded (near the ends) pieces of bones and lead. The Jews limited the number of stripes to a maximum of forty (40). (In practice to 39 in case of a miscount) but no such limitation was recognized by Romans, and victims of Romans floggings often did not survive. (NIV Study Bible)

1

The blood shed by roman whip is purposefully for four (4) reasons:

1. Sickness
2. Pain
3. Rebellion (to God, Government, Leaders, etc…)
4. Sin

The Medical Association in United States finds out 39 major diseases. Remember, the Romans limits the number of flog to 39. I don’t say it as accurate at all, but it seems the two has a connection, what do you think?

Anyway, it is the matter of our faith to Jesus Christ; He is our healer since from the beginning.

Apply the blood of Jesus shed by Roman whip in our daily life for our healings – sickness, pain, rebellion and sin.

U2-philippine-revolution

Last June 12 was the 111th Independence day of my country, Republic of the Philippines.

Reminiscing our history of independence from the regime of foreign countries in our own land is important to me for I am certainly a Filipino. I am so grateful for our heroes who fought for the freedom I am enjoying right now. I am so thankful for those brave lives and blood shed just to achieve this freedom. They were not a coward but they were fighting courageously thinking of their next generation, their children, their children’s children and so on… the ones to take benefit of it and the country itself… They do no longer allow to be slaved in their own land… time for a freedom… though they undergone tough processes such as the Death March are part of it. Our own soldiers were forced by the foreign soldiers to march from Bataan to Capaz, Tarlac, some of them were dying, without food even water… (I have to review my history again…) and a lot more suffering were suffered by them just to achieve the freedom.

Thanks to our country’s great heroes who gave us the freedom… Those people were used by God to give His people a freedom as always part of His plan… Thanks to our Most High God, that even His Son’s life was offered for us to have freedom… the real freedom….

He gave us the freedom through Jesus Christ. The whole world, all human kind take benefits of Jesus’ blood that was shed. Praise Jesus!

Jesus’ word “tetelestai” in english means “It is finished” provide us four glorious benefits. The first, second and third benefits has been discussed to my previous post “Atonement of Sin“, “Access to the Holy of Holies”, and “Acceptance by God”.

Fourth, Assurance of Salvation

Jesus’ Death Provides Full Assurance of Salvation

Because His sacrifice was perfect it never needs to be repeated.
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
“Perfected” Gr.teleioo, “to complete, to make perfect”

“The use of perfected involves the completed cleansing of regeneration (Titus 3:5). This verse (vs. 14) reveals the twofold nature of salvation. The believer possesses a positional, judicial standing of righteousness and, second, a remaining need for practical, progressive holiness. Three factors within this verse make perfected absolute, suggesting the eternal security of the believer. The word itself (Gr.teleioo) involves completion, the bringing of something to its end. Second, the use of the Greek perfect tense suggests that the perfection has been accomplished and its effects are continuing. Third, the modifier, for ever, expresses security for the believer.

“The death of Jesus Christ removes sin forever for those who belong to Him. We are totally secure in our Savior. We need cleansing when we fall into sin, but we need never fear God’s judgment on us because of our sin. As far as Christ’s sacrifice is concerned, we have already been sanctified and perfected—which is why He had to sacrifice Himself only once.

Jesus’ Death Guarantees Full Assurance of Salvation

John 10:27-30 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”

1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

CONCLUSION
What does Jesus’ death mean?
No more sacrifices, no more sin bearing, no more curse for the chosen of God!
“It is finished!” “The entire work of redemption has been brought to completion.”

It provides:
1. Atonement for Sin
2. Access to the Holy of Holies
3. Acceptance by God
4. Assurance of Salvation

Thank God i have already finished posting this series. I will now continue posting the series of the “Power of the Blood”.

I pray this makes sense to you, and if so and you need more discussion deeper than this and know more of Jesus, you may email me rhodapm@gmail.com and i am much willing to through our Lord Jesus Christ my Savior.

Jesus’ word “tetelestai” in english means “It is finished” provide us four glorious benefits. The first and second benefits has been discussed to my previous post “Atonement of Sin“ and Access to the Holy of Holies

Third, Acceptance By God

Through Christ’s Death We Are Accepted to God

Silhouette_of_Jesus_on_Cross

Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

“Accepted” Gr.chariots, “to grace, i.e. in due with special honor:–make accepted, be highly favored.”

“Because believers are accepted in Him, then they, like Him, are beloved of God.

Through Christ’s Death There is No More Enmity

Ephesians 2:14-15 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace.

Being Loved

I just realized how awesome to live a life when you know someone up there loves you the way you want to be loved and more amazing if He can love you more than you expect without you demands on it. Yesterday night is my night and I felt so stunned, astonished and whatever I can describe it when He sings a love song to me. All these years I’ve been loving but I just felt the feeling of being so much loved… I’ve been blinded…

And yeah, my tears were fall… when He sing these words to me;

Love of my life
Look deep in my eyes
There you will find what you need
Give me your life
Lust and the lies
The past you’re afraid I might see
You’ve been running away from me
Oh come running home to me yeah

And when He sing;

Chasing lovers it won’t satisfy
Won’t you let me make you my bride?
You will drink of my lips
And taste new life

Wow… Thanks and as I said my words aren’t just enough to express how grateful I am, I’ve been looking for the love from other but i was reminded “somebody is loving me” that even His life has been given and yeah it leads me to realization and cried… so listen to the song… and feel how grateful you will be if someone will sing you this song

I know you’ve heard me say these words before
But every time I say I love you the words mean something more
I spoke them as a promise right from the start
I said death would be the only thing that could tear us apart
And now that you are standing on the edge of the unknown
I love you means I’ll be with you wherever you must go

I will take a heart whose nature is to beat for me alone
And fill it up with you – make all your joy and pain my own
No matter how deep a valley you go through
I will go there with you
And I will give myself to love the way Love gave itself for me
And climb with you to mountaintops or swim a raging sea
To the place where one heart is made from two
I will go there with you

I see it in your tears – you wonder where you are
The wind is growing colder and the sky is growing dark
Though it’s something neither of us understands
We can walk through this together if we hold each other’s hand
I said for better or worse I’d be with you
So no matter where you’re going I will go there too

I known sometimes I let you down
But I won’t let you go – we’ll always be together

Jesus’ word “tetelestai” in english means “It is finished” provide us four glorious benefits. The first one has been discussed to my previous post “Atonement of Sin

Second, We gain access to the Holy of Holies

Because of Christ’s Death We Have Access to God

No one was allowed access to the holy of holies but the High Priest on the Day of Atonement which occurred once a year.(I prefer you to read the bible from the old testaments)

The Day of Atonement which occurred on the 10th day of the 7th month was to serve as a reminder that the daily, weekly and monthly sacrifices made at the altar of burnt offering were not sufficient to atone for sin.

Hebrews 10:11 And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

On this one day in the year, atoning blood was brought into the holy of holies, the divine throne-room, by the high priest as the representative of the people.” (practice commanded by God to His people during the old testament)

The high priest…first sanctified himself by taking a ceremonial bath and putting on white garments (Lev. 16:4). Then he had to make atonement for himself and other priests by sacrificing a bullock (Num. 29:8). God was enthroned on the MERCY SEAT in the sanctuary, but no person could approach it except through the mediation of the high priest, who offered the blood of sacrifice. After sacrificing a bullock, the high priest chose a goat for a sin-offering and sacrificed it. Then he sprinkled its blood on and about the mercy seat (Lev. 16:12, 14, 15). Finally the scapegoat bearing the sins of the people was sent into the wilderness (Lev. 16:20-22). This scapegoat symbolized the pardon for sin brought through the sacrifice (Gal. 3:12; 2 Cor. 5:21).

Hebrews 10:19-22 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Because of Christ’s Death All Sacrifices Are No Longer Needed (Heb.10:12-18)

Christ’s sacrifice is effective because it removes sin, which the other covenant could never do. The New Covenant went from daily sacrifice to one sacrifice, from ineffective sacrifices to the one perfectly effective sacrifice.

Carry Me…

jesus-1

You lead me in to Your courts
Surround me with Your love
I walk with You
I do not fear

In this place
Dreams are made
In this place
Where You are
Carry me here
In Your arms of love
Draw me close to You
I want to be where You are
I want to be where You are

You carry me, You are my strength
I’ve learnt to trust in You
And once again
I’m reaching out

Hillsong Music

It was Saturday when my brother has been invited to speak at summer youth camp of Faith Tabernacle Mati, Davao Oriental. When I heard it, I abruptly decided to go with him. Well that was my second time and I really wanted to go again to that place and so happened. It is 4-5 hours travel from Davao City by land. Going Mati or Davao oriental from Davao City means to pass first Davao del Norte then Oriental.

I enjoy the beauty of its own. The nature, the sea, the road and everything… It’s clean green and blue.. i really love this place so much…. and i wanted to go there again… for the third time.

Enjoy and God bless us all…

I felt so broken these past few days and even today. This feeling is not normal I know and may affect me. I don’t like it and I didn’t choose to be like this, it’s a suffering for me. It’s a real burden to my heart.

broken_heart_by_fabu

Everything that happens has a purpose and I extremely believe on it, it is just I’m struggling right now coz my heart and emotion has a great involvement on this. I sometimes regret, hoping and wishing I never knew this guy. If only I could turn back time, I’ve supposedly avoid the event, the moment, the words and this feeling I am feeling right now. It’s not easy, so complicated and tiring. Sigh!

Today, I thought of writing quotes that suits me, but it’s hard to express what is in my mind. I didn’t say I haven’t received any love from the one involve in fact I felt it in my heart and it makes me crazy and it’s killing me. But it’s disappointing to know the fact that giving so much love will have a bitter feeling than the one who receives it. This is of no blame here, but I miss lots of opportunities in my life because of this. However, it helps developed the special attitude God has for me and I thank Him for this.

As I am thinking deep on the situation and feeling I have, I think of God. The Heavenly Father who gave His love much more and even His Son’s life has been offered because of His great love. I compare myself to this guy (I mean to the guy mentioned above), we are just the same. There is someone up there who loves me most. He loves me and yes I love Him too. But loving Him is not only by just words, not just by saying I love you and that that that… etc… God want you to love Him that includes everything of you. Not just by thoughts and words. It includes everything. It includes your life, your deeds, your spirit, your souls and everything.

I confessed, I love God and everything of me is His. But I wonder what God would feel the moment I disobey Him and doing things abominable in His sight. Disobeying Him and doing things abominable (even though you didn’t mean to) means ignoring God. It means saying of loving Him but not giving Him all the rights for your life. It means saying of “I love You, Lord” but can’t be seen in our actions/deeds. How does He feel? Does He feel the same thing I felt right now? Does He felt bitter too? I can say yes, He feels more than what I felt. And I am so sorry to realize these things.

Thank You Lord for reminding me again and again. I need Your grace and mercy.

This link has shared to me with Juan Carlos, he asked me to watch them and sadly I was using my mobile that time so I haven’t watch right away. Until I got the chance today and right after I watched it I am now writing this blog. And I was sad not telling him what I want to tell about the video since jc is no longer online. I missed the chance.

It made me cry yeah, whatever the story behind the video; it really touches my heart and begins my tear to fall. How lovely, how awesome the father did to his son. Do you see what his son’s reaction? It was so touching. What has his father done is a bit hard for himself, he is old but he did them all for his son. Wow… It really touches my heart and thank you Juan Carlos for sharing the video to me.

Our father above love us more like we do… Whoever we are, whatever the situations we have, even others see us not normal, and despite of our deficiency in words in actions in everything and our rebellion against Him, He made a way for you to be reconciled to Him. He gave His son Jesus and by His blood we have been redeemed. Our Jesus suffered a lot in the cross for us… that is much more amazing.

I would also love Juan to know I have already sung that song before and I really like the song a lot… My Redeemer lives. Our redeemer lives. God bless us all and Jesus loves you Juan Carlos and so I do too.

Also the video is good to present on father’s day, thanks baby…

Philippians 4:13
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

What does the bible says about it?

We should remember that committing adultery is not only applicable to married man and woman. Unmarried man and woman still do.

In the book of Exodus in Old Testament during Moses, God has provided 10 commandments to His people. The seventh of this speaks as “Thou shall not commit adultery” Exodus 20:14. This command has always been God’s law. And by committing adultery means violating His law, and violating God’s law means committing “sin”. Adultery has an associated consequences that can be read in the bible.

In the book of Matthew in New Testament, Jesus says: “but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart” Matthew 5:27-28. If the adulterous thought is sin, surely the adulterous act is sin too. In the passage, Jesus reminds us that not only should we always be faithful, we should also avoid the lustful fantasies that can cloud our judgment and tempt us into actual adultery.

“We are living in an age where sin is portrayed as a mere illness of the body or mind; when sin is denied or laughed off, when sin is rationalized as merely doing one’s own thing, or doing what comes naturally. But a belief in the Holy God and respect for the authority of his word demands that adultery be recognized and acknowledged for what it is . . . sin.”

Under the law of Moses the penalty was death by stoning. (Deuteronomy 22:21, John 8:4, 5). In King David’s life, when he committed adultery, he took responsibility for his actions and repented. (II Samuel 11 & 12). Although David’s sin cost him the child that he had conceived with Bathsheba, God forgave David for his adultery and blessed the couple with another child, Solomon, who became the next king (II Samuel 12:24).

The only ground that God gave for divorcing one’s mate was sexual immorality. He said, “But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.” Matthew 5:32.

An unrepented adulterer cannot go to heaven the same with unrepented murderers and anything called unrepented sinners “who violated the laws” (eternal punishment). Ephesians 5:5 says: “everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God” And in Colossians 3:6, we are told that because fornication, uncleanness, and inordinate affection, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

What is adultery? It is illicit sexual intercourse between married or unmarried persons. God has graciously provided -for the sexual desires of men and women to be satisfied only in marriage; and to engage in pre-marital, or extra-marital sex, before or outside of marriage is to sin in God’s sight. It should be made clear, however, that the sin of adultery, as serious in God’s sight, and as hateful as it -is to those who commit it, it is forgivable! The story of Jesus and the woman who was taken in adultery (John 8 ) shows that adultery may be forgiven when God’s conditions of pardon are met.

When sexual immorality of all kinds surrounds us on every side, may all of us desire to be, and strive to be, pure in heart and life. Like Joseph, when tempted by Potiphar’s wife, can say “How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9.

“Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming. In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.” Colossians 3:5-10

This song is so beautiful. It teaches me today, to give back my passion to God alone, who never fails me… I made a decision yesterday, again a crazy decision that really takes away my main purpose in this life. The decision was futile but will ruin my life, especially my spiritual being. Hence, I am backing off from it and it is a new but perfect decision to make. The first paragraph of the song is perfect, really perfect.

From the Inside Out
by Hillsong

A thousand times I’ve failed
Still your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I’m caught in your grace

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
my heart and my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Your will above all else, my purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out Lord, my soul cries out

2 Corinthians 12:9 (New American Standard Bible)
And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
