In Your Freedom

I search for You God of strength
I bow to You in my brokenness
And no other King could have so humbly come
To save my soul and heal my heart
I have nothing more than all You offer me
There is nothing else that’s of worth to me
And I love You Lord
You rescued me
You are all that I want
You’re all that I need
I pray to You God of peace
I rest in You my cares released

In Your freedom I will live
I offer devotion

A Series of Choices

The thing you should want most is God’s kingdom
and doing what God wants.
Then all these other things you need will be given to you.

Matthew 6:33 NCV

Your life is a series of choices. From the instant you wake up in the morning until the moment you nod off to sleep at night, you make countless decisions—decisions about the things you do, decisions about the words you speak, and decisions about the way that you choose to direct your thoughts.

As a believer who has been transformed by the love of Jesus, you have every reason to make wise choices. But sometimes, when the daily grind threatens to grind you up and spit you out, you may make choices that are displeasing to God. When you do, you’ll pay a price because you’ll forfeit the happiness and the peace that might otherwise have been yours.

So, as you pause to consider the kind of Christian you are—and the kind of Christian you want to become—ask yourself whether you’re sitting on the fence or standing in the light. The choice is yours . . . and so are the consequences.

There may be no trumpet sound or loud applause when we make a right decision, just a calm sense of resolution and peace.
Gloria Gaither

The greatest choice any man makes is to let God choose for him.
Vance Havner

Life is pretty much like a cafeteria line—it offers us many choices, both good and bad. The Christian must have a spiritual radar that detects the difference not only between bad and good but also among good, better, and best.
Dennis Swanberg

Every day, I find countless opportunities to decide whether I will obey God and demonstrate my love for Him or try to please myself or the world system. God is waiting for my choices.
Bill Bright

Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, I have many choices to make. Help me choose wisely as I follow in the footsteps of Your only begotten Son. Amen

Mercy

“Ohhh Lord Your mercy save me”

I want to share this video to you. I pray this will give encouragement to you.

Here I am a sinner, broken and in need of you
Take my life and wash my fears away
For you are the great I am, rest assured I feel Your hands
Holding me until the darkness clears

Father to the fatherless, redeemer of my soul
My life is yours forever, my heart will always know

Your mercy saved me, mercy made me whole
Your mercy found me, called me as your own

Let My Words Be Few

You are God in heaven
And here am I on earth,
So I’ll let my words be few-
Jesus I am so in love with You.

And I’ll stand in awe of You,
Yes I’ll stand in awe of You,
And I’ll let my words be few-
Jesus I am so in love with You.

The simplest of all love songs
I want to bring to You,
So I’ll let my words be few-
Jesus I am so in love with You.

~Matt Redman

My faithfull Father, enduring friend
your tender mercy is like a river with no wind
it overwhelms me covers my sin
each time i come into your presence I stand in wonder once again

Oh patient savior, you make me whole
you are the author and the healer of my soul
what can i give you lord what can i say
i know there’s no way to repay you only to offer you my praise

your grace still amazes me
your love is still a mystery
each day i fall on my knees
’cause your grace still amazes me
your grace still amazes me

its deeper, its wider, its stronger, its higher
its deeper, its wider, its stronger, its higher
than anything my eyes can see

Time with God

Matthew 5:33-37

Again, you have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FALSE VOWS, BUT SHALL FULFILL YOUR VOWS TO THE LORD.’ But I say to you, make no oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, or by Jerusalem, for it is THE CITY OF THE GREAT KING. Nor shall you make an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your statement be, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil.

If you always say what you mean, then you don’t need to make vows, because people will know they can trust your word!

Let your “yes” mean “yes” and let your “no” mean “no”. We only create problems for ourselves when we try to deceive one another or tell “white lies” or exaggerate or downplay a serious situation.

If you are always honest and open about your statements and commitments, then you will have a reputation of credibility and people will know that they can take you at face value.

The Lord wants people to have confidence in you, because you represent Him. Is He calling you to speak with integrity in a certain situation in your life right now? Do it. Ask Him for the words and timing, but say what you mean.

Words for me today

Trust God and walk out of an unhealthy relationship that is slowly drying up my soul. God has something far better for me. He is just waiting for me to believe it.

From the article “Waiting for God’s “Immeasurably More”

Encouragement for us

God knows life can be difficult and He has given many promises and words of encouragement for those who belong to Him – you, Juan Carlos, you belong to God. Let us keep our faith to Him. I quoted out verses from the bible for you, please read them all.

Deuteronomy 7:9
Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Philippians 3:13-14
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Psalm 42:5-6a
Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

John 16:33
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. -Jesus

Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Psalm 119:50
My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.

Psalm 138:7
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

Psalm 31:24
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Mixed Mood

I am so happy tonight. My King gave it to me. However, it is different from the mood I had 9-10 hours ago. I was so disappointed. In all my life, I prefer a person would tell me the truth than giving me every reason she or he may have just to escape. I don’t like the idea of giving or offering some deal/agreement then breaking it in the agreed time. I am not saying that one has no rights of doing so, but I think it is better to let the person involve with the agreement know beforehand. This is better though than saying invalid reasons. Maybe your reasons are true, but try to weigh them up if there are valid and worthy to tell…

Thus, I was aware of the responses I made. I know these were all wrong. I know. I should have controlled myself, but I failed. I failed because of the anger and I wanted to explode, and it happened. Tears burst out from my eyes, sniffs and other manifestation… It is so hard for me, and now I regret everything.

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience

While I’m waiting
I will serve You
While I’m waiting
I will worship
While I’m waiting
I will not faint
I’ll be running the race
Even while I wait

I’m waiting
I’m waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I’m waiting on You, Lord
Though it’s not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait

Listen to the song

My most favorite part of the movie, Fireproof, it really made my tears fall

How grateful I am to you J, thank you so much

When I Cry

Makin’ a list of all of the good things you’ve done for me.
Lord, I’ve never been one to complain.
But, right now I’m lost, and I can’t find my way.
My world’s come apart, and it’s breakin’ my heart.
But it helps to know; Your heart is breaking too.

When I cry, You cry. When I hurt, You hurt.
When I’ve lost someone, it takes a piece of You too.
And when I fall on my face, You fill me with grace.
‘Cause nothing breaks Your heart, or tears You apart
Like when I cry.

Alone in the dark, face in my hands cryin’ out to You.
Lord, there’s never been a time in my life,
There’s so much at stake, there’s so much to lose.
But I trust it to You. You’ll bring me through.
And it helps me to know that I’m not alone.

When I cry, You cry. When I hurt, You hurt.
When I’ve lost someone, it takes a piece of You too.
And when I fall on my face, You fill me with grace.
‘Cause nothing breaks Your heart, or tears You apart
Like when I cry.

You’re the one who calmed the raging sea.
You’re the one who made the blind to see.
You looked through all of heaven and eternity,
And through it all you saw me.

When I cry, You cry. When I hurt, You hurt.
When I’ve lost someone, it takes a piece of You too.
And when I fall on my face, You fill me with grace.
Nothing breaks Your heart, or tears You apart
Like when I cry. MMMmmmm

Fireproof

Fireproof is the title of the movie in which our church mate recommended me to watch and gave me the copy. I stored the movie in my dad’s laptop. I think that was 7 months ago. He told me that the movie was awesome. I don’t know the reason but I haven’t taken any of my time to watch the movie until Monday this week (August 3). I have the opportunity to watch the movie on our first Hubport Fellowship. The movie was so awesome and inspiring love story. It was really so good. Honestly, it inspires me a lot. And I recommend this movie for you to watch, you won’t regret it. Thanks J.

Here’s the trailer of the movie, Fireproof:

Fireproof Synopsis:

At work, inside burning buildings, Capt. Caleb Holt lives by the old firefighter’s adage: Never leave your partner behind. At home, in the cooling embers of his marriage, he lives by his own rules.

After seven years of marriage, Caleb and Catherine Holt have drifted so far apart that Catherine wishes she had never married. Neither one understands the pressures the other faces-he as firefighter and she as the public relations director of a hospital. Regular arguments over jobs, finances, housework, and outside interests have readied them both to move on to something with more sparks.

As the couple prepares to enter divorce proceedings, Caleb’s father challenges his son to commit to a 40-day experiment he calls “The Love Dare.” Wondering if it’s even worth the effort, Caleb agrees, but more for his father’s sake more than for his marriage. When Caleb discovers the book’s daily challenges are tied into his parents’ newfound faith, his already limited interest is further dampened.

While trying to stay true to his promise, Caleb becomes frustrated time and again. He finally asks his father, “How am I supposed to show love to somebody who constantly rejects me?”

fireproof

When his father explains that this is the love God shows to us, Caleb makes a life-changing commitment to love God. And-with God’s help-he begins to understand what it means to truly love his wife.

But is it too late to fireproof his marriage? His job is to rescue others. Now Caleb Holt is ready to face his toughest job ever … rescuing his wife’s heart.

While hoping The Love Dare has nothing to do with his parents’ newfound faith, Caleb commits to the challenge. But can he attempt to love his wife while avoiding God’s love for him? Will he be able to demonstrate love over and over again to a person that’s no longer receptive to his love? Or is this just another marriage destined to go up in smoke?

July New Things

It was early of July when I scanned the Natasha catalogue of shoes, and there were some shoes there that I really like. I am more on flats, and I see a lot of flats there and decided to order instead of going to shop in malls which I have no time to do…

The following are my choices and I already got them all… jajaja…

First choice: named comfee and has a bronze color… I am really comfortable with this flat shoe

070820091600708200916107082009162

Second choice: named as Georgette and has a beige color… I like this most and so when I first used the shoe my officemate has stepped on my shoe accidentally yet with force and got the shoe scratches – just a light scratch, anyway I got another one to have the perfect one being reserved. I have 2 Georgette as my collection… jajaja…

070920091760709200917507092009174

The third choice, is not a Natasha shoes, it’s sundance named as rufina. I love it also but until now I haven’t wear them yet. It’s a sandal rather, and I find it good in shorts and skirts. I’ll wear them soon… jajaja

070920091700709200917107092009172

Fourth choice named as Maxime – Natasha. It’s made with style, super curve with a purpose. It has a bronze color also. I’m not into bronze, isn’t it? Hehehehe… several of my shoes has a bronze color… maybe I’m attracted with this color.

072920092400729200923807292009236

The last shoe I got for this month of July named as academe, I purposely order it for my British Council thing. I need a comfortable black shoe. It’s time to replace the pointed and high heel shoe; it was really tiring for me after work….

073020092500730200924907302009248

Do I sound like the wife of our late president? hehehe… Noo, she has a lot more… But I’m looking forward for the coming months… God bless everyone

I am just starting counting my blessings from this month forward…

Sweet Surrender

It’s not a mysterious wind, and
It’s not the thunder willing in
It’s the spirit that I feel within that’s calling
I understand but I can’t explain
Now I see love in a different way
And with the sing leap the faith
I’m falling
Into Your loving arms
Showing no resistance
There’s a peace that flows over me

Sweet surrender
Love me tender
You have captured my desire and heart completely
Sweet surrender
Yours forever
I will gladly give my all to You
Receive me
Oh Lord I am Yours

Your love of us has no escape
But I don’t feel the need to run away
My heart has found a place to stay here with You
Nothing else could satisfy
The deep void that I had inside
From all the multiple battles I had lived through

Now here in Your loving arms
I have gone the distance
I will rest my soul in Your embrace

‘Cause I have gone the distance
I will rest my soul in Your embrace

Messages

The two messages i received in my phone while i was sleeping three hours ago…

Love is like a stapler. it’s easy to attach but hard to detach. And the worst is, when you’re able to detach it, it still leaves the paper “DAMAGED”.

Be careful in ignoring things you thought are just nothing cause maybe someday you’ll realize that the one you ignored is the very thing you’ve been wishing for.

Things to do…

There are a lot of things i wanna do and will surely do. These are:

1. Diet
2. Voice Lesson
3. Guitar Playing practice (more on acoustic this time – for wedding)
4. Guitar Playing practice (electric guitar – instrumental style)
5. Bass Guitar playing(enhance)

The nails in Jesus’ hands – touching the world

Hebrews 12:24 (NKJV)
“…to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.”

All Power of Christianity is found only in the cross
The blood of Jesus has a great power

Jesus came to the earth to touch us:

hand

Loneliness
Broken-hearted
To set us free
Healing
Depression

A. JESUS IS OUR EXAMPLE

Psalms 22:16 (NIV)
“Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet. “

Definition of Touch – to come into or be in contact with; to affect with same feeling or emotion; a make difference.

Bible Verses that shows Jesus had reached His hands out to touch: You may click the verse to read the whole of it.

Matthew 8:1-3 (NIV)
Matthew 8:14-15 (NIV)
Luke 7:12-15(NIV)

The devil had Jesus hands nailed to the cross to try to keep Him from touching the world

B. PRAY FOR JESUS TO TOUCH THE WORLD

Acts 4:29-30 (NIV)
Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

The church learned how to pray that the Lord would touch the world.
It is by the power of the blood that was shed from Jesus’ hands that He can touch the world.

C. BE JESUS HANDS

Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV)
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.

Jesus wants to use your hands to touch the world.
Through that nail the gifts of the Holy Spirit release to the church

I Corinthians 12:4-11
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.

John 14:12
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

I will praise You Lord my God
Even in my brokenness
I will praise You Lord
I will praise You Lord my God
Even in my desperation
I will praise You Lord

And I can’t understand
All that You allow
I just can’t see the reason
But my life is in Your hands
And though I cannot see You
I choose to trust You

Even when my heart is torn I will praise (trust) You Lord
Even when I feel deserted I will praise (trust) You Lord
Even in my darkest valley I will praise (trust) You Lord
And when my world is shattered and it seems all hope is gone
Yet I will praise You Lord

I will trust You Lord my God
Even in my loneliness
I will trust You Lord
I will trust You Lord my God
Even when I cannot hear You
I will trust You Lord

And I will not forget
That You hung on a cross
Lord You bled and died for me
And if I have to suffer
I know that You’ve been there
And I know that You’re here now

Beyond Words

Well if you only knew the pain that I’ve been through
Since when did it become all about you
As you can see from the start I’ve said the truth
But if the truth means nothing to you
Then what am i supposed to do?

And ill still love you
Beyond what words will say
I’ll take your every suffering moment
And bring a better day
I’ll still love you
More then what i hope to be
Let me wrap my arms around you
Let me take your breath away

And every time i ask
You assure your doing fine
But your heart looks good by smiling
You couldn’t fool mine
By the end of the night your pillow sits to dry
In a crowded room your singing
On the inside you cry

In a ball room there is dancing
In a forest there are trees
In a child theres a hope
That keeps him in believe
With any star there is a sky
With any beach theres a sea
With any love song theres a lover
And in your heart i hope its….

Another worship song by Hillsong Music Australia called “Take All of Me”. Song for the broken one. Brokenness doesn’t mean only of being broken from someone whom you are related with. It has a lot of meaning too. And this song is perfect to sing to God in times of such situation. Thanks Jesus for those people who has your gifts to write such songs. This is perfect when seems we can’t bear everything happening around us. Lord, You are perfect and I am not, still, You are there for me. I love You. Here’s the lyrics:

You broke the night like the sun
And healed my heart with Your great love
Any trouble I couldn’t bear
You lifted me upon Your shoulders

Love that’s stronger
Love that covers sin
And takes the weight of the world

I love You
All of my hope is in You
Jesus Christ take my life
Take all of me

You stand on mountain tops with me
With You I walk through the valleys
Your grace is all I rely on

I love You so, and I give up my heart to say
I need You so, my everything

All I Need

Another song i wanted to share by Rita Springer called “All I Need”… I have a link here to post for you to listen the song instead of pulling them from youtube… Wow, this song is so perfect… the lyrics taught me what to do in this time of my sufferings and i believe God is working inside of me. He is molding my life. He beautify it with this sufferings and brokenness i have… His hands is working… He is my potter… I am the clay. Lord, here I am… It will not last, it will never last… and i will be facing the world with perfect strength, with perfect faith with perfect hope and with perfect You, My Maker.

Click Here to Listen “All I Need” by Rita Springer

All I need to do is worship
All I need to do is say His name out loud
All I need to do is lift my hands, surrender
And bow down
All I need to do is find Him
All I need to do is let His presence fall
All I need to do is worship
Worship the Lord

When there’s no way out
Except through a miracle
When there’s no way up a mountain
Except to climb it
When everything you hope for
Seems gone
And every dream you’ve dreamed
Is so far away, that’s when I say..

Worth It All

I would like to share this song by Rita Springer entitled “Worth It All”. This song is very inspiring. Whatever sufferings and trials we face, it is worth it when we will meet Christ. Lord, you give me strength in moment like this, in moment i feel like everything is going not right, You are always there to remind me. To remind Your love, to remind your blood. It has been given for me and to all of us. Enjoy listening.

I don’t understand Your ways
Oh but I will give You my song
Give You all of my praise
You hold on to all my pain
With it You are pulling me closer
And pulling me into Your ways

Now around every corner
And up every mountain
I’m not looking for crowns
Or the water from fountains
I’m desperate in seeking, frantic believing
That the sight of Your face
Is all that I need
I will say to You

It’s gonna be worth it
It’s gonna be worth it
It’s gonna be worth it all
I believe this

I have created a different blog for my personal use. I invited you to please visit my site and subscribe to receive via emails of the updates I’ve done.

Thanks and be blessed.

It was really a sacrifice for me to do the video presentation for the father’s day event on Sunday to present in the church. Why? It was because of the things happened to me in the past few days that still bothers me until such time and those things that happened during that day (the day I was making the video). My mind was so troubled and I thought of going away or escaping to go away telling no one. But I conquered those feelings with the help of the blood of my creator, Jesus Christ. Therefore, I made it and it was so inspiring to see the smiles and laughs on their faces… I love all of you daddies… and I love you, my dad.

Fathers are wonderful people
Too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises
As often as we should…

For, somehow, Father seems to be
The man who pays the bills,
While Mother binds up little hurts
And nurses all our ills…

And Father struggles daily
To live up to “HIS IMAGE”
As protector and provider
And “hero or the scrimmage”…

IMG_0036

180120092808

And perhaps that is the reason
We sometimes get the notion,
That Fathers are not subject
To the thing we call emotion

But if you look inside Dad’s heart,
Where no one else can see
You’ll find he’s sentimental
And as “soft” as he can be…

But he’s so busy every day
In the grueling race of life,
He leaves the sentimental stuff
To his partner and his wife…

IMG_0292

But Fathers are just WONDERFUL
In a million different ways,
And they merit loving compliments
And accolade of praise

For the only reason Dad aspires
To fortune and success
Is to make the family proud of him
And to bring them happiness…

And like OUR HEAVENLY FATHER,
He’s a guardian and a guide,
Someone that we can count on
To be ALWAYS ON OUR SIDE.

The Blood That Was Shed From Jesus Face – For Self-Esteem

“To Jesus the mediator of a new covenant and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel” Hebrews 12:24 (NIV)

Self-Esteem is your opinion of yourself.
High self-esteem is a good opinion of yourself.
Low self-esteem is bad opinion of yourself.

So God created in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1:27-28

Because of sin, we loss that identity. Nowadays, many people are living in wrong identity, looking for that lost self image in;
Magazine, Hollywood, Showbiz – No contentment

Symptoms and consequences of low self-esteem
Marilyn J. Sorensen, PhD believes the following are the symptoms and consequences of low esteem:

A. Cognitive
• Faulty self image (the inaccurate view of oneself as inadequate, unlovable, unworthy, incompetent)
• Inability to discern who and when to trust
• Irrational and distorted (untrue/unproven negative statement to himself)
• Mind Reading and projection (thinks and believes that other view him in the same negative ways that he view himself)
• Overly critical of self and others
• Reactionary (overact to situations)
• Self-focused
• Unreasonable Expectations

1

B. Emotion
• Depression
• Discouragement
• Fear and Anxiety (making a mistake, being rejected looking foolish or inadequate)
• Hypersensitivity
• (Appearance of) Shyness

C. Behavioural
• Being needy
• Chaotic Relationship
• Defensiveness
• Eating Disorder
• Hyper-vigilance
• Perfectionism
• Poor communication
• Wearing a mask

Apply the blood that was shed from Jesus face

“…His appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and His form marred beyond human likeness…” Isaiah 52:14 (NIV)

The victory recognizes who you are in Christ
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalms 139:13-14

“I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13

Change your thoughts and beliefs
• Use hopeful statement
• Forgive yourself – everyone make mistakes
“I made a mistake but that doesn’t make me a bad person”
• Focus on the positive
• Encourage yourself
• Apply the blood that was shed from Jesus face

“If you have a high level of self esteem you will be confident, happy, highly motivated and have the right attitude to succeed”

The Blood Shed by the Crown of Thorns – For Prosperity and Conquest. This is the third series of the Power of the Blood.

Not without blood
“In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” Hebrew 9:22 (NIV)

…and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:24-25

2

In remembering the cross, the blood that spilled out from Jesus, what benefits us in our present situation? It saves us from:

1. Eternal Damnation
2. Sickness
3. Diseases
4. Curse
5. Poverty

“Not without blood”
“Everything has been done by the blood of Jesus Christ”

The most powerful and blessed nation in terms of finances was also hit and shaken by this present crisis (Global Financial Crisis) – America. Every nation is affected, and some of us have confessed we’re in crisis too. It seems that our God is too small that he cannot handle this problem, our faith is shaken, and we want to give up.

Our Hope is in the Blood of Jesus Christ
“… that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich”

How these things happen? In the Garden of Eden – everything were provided, abundance.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1:26; 28 (NIV)

Adam has the crown of the authority, dominion. They enjoy the blessings of God, not until Adam fall.

To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” Genesis 3:17-19

Because of sin, the ground was under cursed and Satan took the “crown of authority” (blessing)

Remember when satan tried to bargain Jesus in Luke 4:5-8: The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.

Satan was caught by his own foolishness. John 19:2-3: The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe and went up to him again and again, saying, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they struck him in the face.

The blood that dropped from the head of Christ wipes the thorns and thistles.
The blood breaks the curse of poverty, poverty mindset.
The blood conquered our prosperity and abundance.

Application
Apply the blood that shed out by the “crown of thorn” so that your finances will get healed.

It’s been a long time since I wrote the first series of Jesus’ blood that shed from His body. First series is for betrayal. Please click here if you haven’t read yet.

The BLOOD is “for you” and “to you”.

But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6 (NLT)

2

The Romans used a whip made of several strips of leather into which were embedded (near the ends) pieces of bones and lead. The Jews limited the number of stripes to a maximum of forty (40). (In practice to 39 in case of a miscount) but no such limitation was recognized by Romans, and victims of Romans floggings often did not survive. (NIV Study Bible)

1

The blood shed by roman whip is purposefully for four (4) reasons:

1. Sickness
2. Pain
3. Rebellion (to God, Government, Leaders, etc…)
4. Sin

The Medical Association in United States finds out 39 major diseases. Remember, the Romans limits the number of flog to 39. I don’t say it as accurate at all, but it seems the two has a connection, what do you think?

Anyway, it is the matter of our faith to Jesus Christ; He is our healer since from the beginning.

Apply the blood of Jesus shed by Roman whip in our daily life for our healings – sickness, pain, rebellion and sin.

U2-philippine-revolution

Last June 12 was the 111th Independence day of my country, Republic of the Philippines.

Reminiscing our history of independence from the regime of foreign countries in our own land is important to me for I am certainly a Filipino. I am so grateful for our heroes who fought for the freedom I am enjoying right now. I am so thankful for those brave lives and blood shed just to achieve this freedom. They were not a coward but they were fighting courageously thinking of their next generation, their children, their children’s children and so on… the ones to take benefit of it and the country itself… They do no longer allow to be slaved in their own land… time for a freedom… though they undergone tough processes such as the Death March are part of it. Our own soldiers were forced by the foreign soldiers to march from Bataan to Capaz, Tarlac, some of them were dying, without food even water… (I have to review my history again…) and a lot more suffering were suffered by them just to achieve the freedom.

Thanks to our country’s great heroes who gave us the freedom… Those people were used by God to give His people a freedom as always part of His plan… Thanks to our Most High God, that even His Son’s life was offered for us to have freedom… the real freedom….

He gave us the freedom through Jesus Christ. The whole world, all human kind take benefits of Jesus’ blood that was shed. Praise Jesus!

Jesus’ word “tetelestai” in english means “It is finished” provide us four glorious benefits. The first, second and third benefits has been discussed to my previous post “Atonement of Sin“, “Access to the Holy of Holies”, and “Acceptance by God”.

Fourth, Assurance of Salvation

Jesus’ Death Provides Full Assurance of Salvation

Because His sacrifice was perfect it never needs to be repeated.
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
“Perfected” Gr.teleioo, “to complete, to make perfect”

“The use of perfected involves the completed cleansing of regeneration (Titus 3:5). This verse (vs. 14) reveals the twofold nature of salvation. The believer possesses a positional, judicial standing of righteousness and, second, a remaining need for practical, progressive holiness. Three factors within this verse make perfected absolute, suggesting the eternal security of the believer. The word itself (Gr.teleioo) involves completion, the bringing of something to its end. Second, the use of the Greek perfect tense suggests that the perfection has been accomplished and its effects are continuing. Third, the modifier, for ever, expresses security for the believer.

“The death of Jesus Christ removes sin forever for those who belong to Him. We are totally secure in our Savior. We need cleansing when we fall into sin, but we need never fear God’s judgment on us because of our sin. As far as Christ’s sacrifice is concerned, we have already been sanctified and perfected—which is why He had to sacrifice Himself only once.

Jesus’ Death Guarantees Full Assurance of Salvation

John 10:27-30 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”

1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

CONCLUSION
What does Jesus’ death mean?
No more sacrifices, no more sin bearing, no more curse for the chosen of God!
“It is finished!” “The entire work of redemption has been brought to completion.”

It provides:
1. Atonement for Sin
2. Access to the Holy of Holies
3. Acceptance by God
4. Assurance of Salvation

Thank God i have already finished posting this series. I will now continue posting the series of the “Power of the Blood”.

I pray this makes sense to you, and if so and you need more discussion deeper than this and know more of Jesus, you may email me rhodapm@gmail.com and i am much willing to through our Lord Jesus Christ my Savior.

Jesus’ word “tetelestai” in english means “It is finished” provide us four glorious benefits. The first and second benefits has been discussed to my previous post “Atonement of Sin“ and Access to the Holy of Holies

Third, Acceptance By God

Through Christ’s Death We Are Accepted to God

Silhouette_of_Jesus_on_Cross

Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

“Accepted” Gr.chariots, “to grace, i.e. in due with special honor:–make accepted, be highly favored.”

“Because believers are accepted in Him, then they, like Him, are beloved of God.

Through Christ’s Death There is No More Enmity

Ephesians 2:14-15 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace.

Being Loved

I just realized how awesome to live a life when you know someone up there loves you the way you want to be loved and more amazing if He can love you more than you expect without you demands on it. Yesterday night is my night and I felt so stunned, astonished and whatever I can describe it when He sings a love song to me. All these years I’ve been loving but I just felt the feeling of being so much loved… I’ve been blinded…

And yeah, my tears were fall… when He sing these words to me;

Love of my life
Look deep in my eyes
There you will find what you need
Give me your life
Lust and the lies
The past you’re afraid I might see
You’ve been running away from me
Oh come running home to me yeah

And when He sing;

Chasing lovers it won’t satisfy
Won’t you let me make you my bride?
You will drink of my lips
And taste new life

Wow… Thanks and as I said my words aren’t just enough to express how grateful I am, I’ve been looking for the love from other but i was reminded “somebody is loving me” that even His life has been given and yeah it leads me to realization and cried… so listen to the song… and feel how grateful you will be if someone will sing you this song

I know you’ve heard me say these words before
But every time I say I love you the words mean something more
I spoke them as a promise right from the start
I said death would be the only thing that could tear us apart
And now that you are standing on the edge of the unknown
I love you means I’ll be with you wherever you must go

I will take a heart whose nature is to beat for me alone
And fill it up with you – make all your joy and pain my own
No matter how deep a valley you go through
I will go there with you
And I will give myself to love the way Love gave itself for me
And climb with you to mountaintops or swim a raging sea
To the place where one heart is made from two
I will go there with you

I see it in your tears – you wonder where you are
The wind is growing colder and the sky is growing dark
Though it’s something neither of us understands
We can walk through this together if we hold each other’s hand
I said for better or worse I’d be with you
So no matter where you’re going I will go there too

I known sometimes I let you down
But I won’t let you go – we’ll always be together

Jesus’ word “tetelestai” in english means “It is finished” provide us four glorious benefits. The first one has been discussed to my previous post “Atonement of Sin

Second, We gain access to the Holy of Holies

Because of Christ’s Death We Have Access to God

No one was allowed access to the holy of holies but the High Priest on the Day of Atonement which occurred once a year.(I prefer you to read the bible from the old testaments)

The Day of Atonement which occurred on the 10th day of the 7th month was to serve as a reminder that the daily, weekly and monthly sacrifices made at the altar of burnt offering were not sufficient to atone for sin.

Hebrews 10:11 And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

On this one day in the year, atoning blood was brought into the holy of holies, the divine throne-room, by the high priest as the representative of the people.” (practice commanded by God to His people during the old testament)

The high priest…first sanctified himself by taking a ceremonial bath and putting on white garments (Lev. 16:4). Then he had to make atonement for himself and other priests by sacrificing a bullock (Num. 29:8). God was enthroned on the MERCY SEAT in the sanctuary, but no person could approach it except through the mediation of the high priest, who offered the blood of sacrifice. After sacrificing a bullock, the high priest chose a goat for a sin-offering and sacrificed it. Then he sprinkled its blood on and about the mercy seat (Lev. 16:12, 14, 15). Finally the scapegoat bearing the sins of the people was sent into the wilderness (Lev. 16:20-22). This scapegoat symbolized the pardon for sin brought through the sacrifice (Gal. 3:12; 2 Cor. 5:21).

Hebrews 10:19-22 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Because of Christ’s Death All Sacrifices Are No Longer Needed (Heb.10:12-18)

Christ’s sacrifice is effective because it removes sin, which the other covenant could never do. The New Covenant went from daily sacrifice to one sacrifice, from ineffective sacrifices to the one perfectly effective sacrifice.

You lead me in to Your courts
Surround me with Your love
I walk with You
I do not fear

In this place
Dreams are made
In this place
Where You are
Carry me here
In Your arms of love
Draw me close to You
I want to be where You are
I want to be where You are

You carry me, You are my strength
I’ve learnt to trust in You
And once again
I’m reaching out

Hillsong Music

It was Saturday when my brother has been invited to speak at summer youth camp of Faith Tabernacle Mati, Davao Oriental. When I heard it, I abruptly decided to go with him. Well that was my second time and I really wanted to go again to that place and so happened. It is 4-5 hours travel from Davao City by land. Going Mati or Davao oriental from Davao City means to pass first Davao del Norte then Oriental.

I enjoy the beauty of its own. The nature, the sea, the road and everything… It’s clean green and blue.. i really love this place so much…. and i wanted to go there again… for the third time.

Enjoy and God bless us all…

I felt so broken these past few days and even today. This feeling is not normal I know and may affect me. I don’t like it and I didn’t choose to be like this, it’s a suffering for me. It’s a real burden to my heart.

broken_heart_by_fabu

Everything that happens has a purpose and I extremely believe on it, it is just I’m struggling right now coz my heart and emotion has a great involvement on this. I sometimes regret, hoping and wishing I never knew this guy. If only I could turn back time, I’ve supposedly avoid the event, the moment, the words and this feeling I am feeling right now. It’s not easy, so complicated and tiring. Sigh!

Today, I thought of writing quotes that suits me, but it’s hard to express what is in my mind. I didn’t say I haven’t received any love from the one involve in fact I felt it in my heart and it makes me crazy and it’s killing me. But it’s disappointing to know the fact that giving so much love will have a bitter feeling than the one who receives it. This is of no blame here, but I miss lots of opportunities in my life because of this. However, it helps developed the special attitude God has for me and I thank Him for this.

As I am thinking deep on the situation and feeling I have, I think of God. The Heavenly Father who gave His love much more and even His Son’s life has been offered because of His great love. I compare myself to this guy (I mean to the guy mentioned above), we are just the same. There is someone up there who loves me most. He loves me and yes I love Him too. But loving Him is not only by just words, not just by saying I love you and that that that… etc… God want you to love Him that includes everything of you. Not just by thoughts and words. It includes everything. It includes your life, your deeds, your spirit, your souls and everything.

bheart

I confessed, I love God and everything of me is His. But I wonder what God would feel the moment I disobey Him and doing things abominable in His sight. Disobeying Him and doing things abominable (even though you didn’t mean to) means ignoring God. It means saying of loving Him but not giving Him all the rights for your life. It means saying of “I love You, Lord” but can’t be seen in our actions/deeds. How does He feel? Does He feel the same thing I felt right now? Does He felt bitter too? I can say yes, He feels more than what I felt. And I am so sorry to realize these things.

Thank You Lord for reminding me again and again. I need Your grace and mercy.

dad&son

This link has shared to me with Juan Carlos, he asked me to watch them and sadly I was using my mobile that time so I haven’t watch right away. Until I got the chance today and right after I watched it I am now writing this blog. And I was sad not telling him what I want to tell about the video since jc is no longer online. I missed the chance.

It made me cry yeah, whatever the story behind the video; it really touches my heart and begins my tear to fall. How lovely, how awesome the father did to his son. Do you see what his son’s reaction? It was so touching. What has his father done is a bit hard for himself, he is old but he did them all for his son. Wow… It really touches my heart and thank you Juan Carlos for sharing the video to me.

Our father above love us more like we do… Whoever we are, whatever the situations we have, even others see us not normal, and despite of our deficiency in words in actions in everything and our rebellion against Him, He made a way for you to be reconciled to Him. He gave His son Jesus and by His blood we have been redeemed. Our Jesus suffered a lot in the cross for us… that is much more amazing.

I would also love Juan to know I have already sung that song before and I really like the song a lot… My Redeemer lives. Our redeemer lives. God bless us all and Jesus loves you Juan Carlos and so I do too.

Also the video is good to present on father’s day, thanks baby…

Philippians 4:13
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

What does the bible says about it?

We should remember that committing adultery is not only applicable to married man and woman. Unmarried man and woman still do.

In the book of Exodus in Old Testament during Moses, God has provided 10 commandments to His people. The seventh of this speaks as “Thou shall not commit adultery” Exodus 20:14. This command has always been God’s law. And by committing adultery means violating His law, and violating God’s law means committing “sin”. Adultery has an associated consequences that can be read in the bible.

In the book of Matthew in New Testament, Jesus says: “but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart” Matthew 5:27-28. If the adulterous thought is sin, surely the adulterous act is sin too. In the passage, Jesus reminds us that not only should we always be faithful, we should also avoid the lustful fantasies that can cloud our judgment and tempt us into actual adultery.

“We are living in an age where sin is portrayed as a mere illness of the body or mind; when sin is denied or laughed off, when sin is rationalized as merely doing one’s own thing, or doing what comes naturally. But a belief in the Holy God and respect for the authority of his word demands that adultery be recognized and acknowledged for what it is . . . sin.”

Under the law of Moses the penalty was death by stoning. (Deuteronomy 22:21, John 8:4, 5). In King David’s life, when he committed adultery, he took responsibility for his actions and repented. (II Samuel 11 & 12). Although David’s sin cost him the child that he had conceived with Bathsheba, God forgave David for his adultery and blessed the couple with another child, Solomon, who became the next king (II Samuel 12:24).

The only ground that God gave for divorcing one’s mate was sexual immorality. He said, “But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.” Matthew 5:32.

An unrepented adulterer cannot go to heaven the same with unrepented murderers and anything called unrepented sinners “who violated the laws” (eternal punishment). Ephesians 5:5 says: “everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God” And in Colossians 3:6, we are told that because fornication, uncleanness, and inordinate affection, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

What is adultery? It is illicit sexual intercourse between married or unmarried persons. God has graciously provided -for the sexual desires of men and women to be satisfied only in marriage; and to engage in pre-marital, or extra-marital sex, before or outside of marriage is to sin in God’s sight. It should be made clear, however, that the sin of adultery, as serious in God’s sight, and as hateful as it -is to those who commit it, it is forgivable! The story of Jesus and the woman who was taken in adultery (John 8 ) shows that adultery may be forgiven when God’s conditions of pardon are met.

When sexual immorality of all kinds surrounds us on every side, may all of us desire to be, and strive to be, pure in heart and life. Like Joseph, when tempted by Potiphar’s wife, can say “How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9.

“Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming. In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.” Colossians 3:5-10

This song is so beautiful. It teaches me today, to give back my passion to God alone, who never fails me… I made a decision yesterday, again a crazy decision that really takes away my main purpose in this life. The decision was futile but will ruin my life, especially my spiritual being. Hence, I am backing off from it and it is a new but perfect decision to make. The first paragraph of the song is perfect, really perfect.

From the Inside Out
by Hillsong

A thousand times I’ve failed
Still your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I’m caught in your grace

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
my heart and my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Your will above all else, my purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out Lord, my soul cries out

2 Corinthians 12:9 (New American Standard Bible)
And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

This blog is different this time.

I am writing this not because I am happy

In fact, my tears are slightly falling down in my face or sometimes tears stuck in my eyes.

And honestly, there is what called “anger” in my heart.

I am not proud of being this though, but I know as the writing goes on someone/something will give me peace of mind, joy in heart, sweep away the anger I felt, forgiveness of being this and everything. I know everything is through Jesus’ blood.

I realize, though I already know, that man might really fails you. Those who you thinks can help, those who you thinks can give comfort, advices and care, those were sometimes may fails you.

It’s my fault. I supposedly praying or reading God’s word instead, if I need some advices, comfort and such… But I fail to do so. I failed my God too.

I won’t write here the details of the root of this thing, I mean the problem I have right now. But it’s all about with the decision I made yesterday “A crazy decision”. And so, I need some advices and comforts because I am really troubled and it bothers me a lot. Instead of leaning to my Creator, I did opposite. It’s time for confession and asking forgiveness…

What I’ve learned: I might fail God; Men might fail Him too and might fail us, but God through Jesus blood will not fail us.

Mama, thank you for giving me so much love. And I’m sorry for giving you pains, hurts, worries and giving you stretch marks.. hehehe. Thank you for being the human representation of spring for your patience never seem to run out. All I asked of you were attentions during my younger years but you’ve provided me your whole life and love me unconditionally without me having to ask you twice.

Happy Mother’s Day. Je t’aime. Te Amo. Mahal Kita. Guhigugma ko ikaw.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mother in the world… mother in our church, friend’s mom and to your mom… and Happy mama’s day to my very dearest mama, I love you… The song I’ll be posted below is originally from Boyz II Men and used this song on mother’s media presentation  in our church today, sunday, which i created. But the song i used was sung by Charice Pempengco,  a filipina singer.

“A Song for Mama”

IMG_0036

You taught me everything
And everything you’ve given me
I’ll always keep it inside
You’re the driving force
In my life, yeah
There isn’t anything
Or anyone that I can be
And it just wouldn’t feel right
If I didn’t have you by my side
IMG_0292
You were there for me
To love and care for me
When skies were grey
Whenever I was down
You were always there
To comfort me
And no one else can be
IMG_0270
What you have been to me
You’ll always be
You will always be the girl
In my life for all times

[Chorus:]

Mama
Mama you know I love you
(Oh you know I love you)
IMG_0257
Mama
Mama
You’re the queen of my heart
Your love is like
Tears from the stars
Mama I just want you to know
Lovin’ you
Is like food to my soul

IMG_0074

(Yes it is, yes it is,ohhhhh
Yes it is, yes it is, yes it is
Oohhhh)

You’re always there for me
Have always been around for me
Even when I was bad
You showed me
Right from my wrong
(Yes you did)
IMG_0028

And you took up for me
When everyone was downin’ me
You always did understand
You gave me strength to go on
There was so many times
Looking back
When I was so afraid
And then you come to me
And saaaayyyy
I can face anything
And no one else can do
1
What you have done for me
You’ll always be
You will always be
The girl in my life
(Oooo, oohh)

Never gonna go
A day without you
Fill’s me up
Just thinking about you
I’ll never go a day
Without my mama

What then do we learn about the completion of our redemption?

This is the last question asked in my previous entry, The Greatest Fight Ever in Human History: The Intro. This entry is connected with the said entry, and there are 3 entries left to be posted.

Jesus’ words “It is finished” provide us four glorious benefits.

First, It is for the Atonement of Sin

Warren Wiersbe, writes, “None of the Old Testament sacrifices could take away sins; their blood only covered sin. But the Lamb of God shed His blood, and that blood can take away the sins of the world (John 1:29; Heb. 9:24–28).”

Jesus’ Death Conquered Sin. He “purged our sins” (Heb.1:1-3)

passion-of-christ

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Kenneth Wuest says, while we are having fellowship with Jesus, His blood keeps constantly cleansing us from sins of omission, sins of ignorance, sins we know nothing about in our lives and for the reason that we have not grown in grace enough to see that they are sin.

If cleansing away of the defilement of sin in our lives is not taken care of by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, this prevents our fellowship with God.

“It is all by the blood of Jesus Christ… Everything will be done by the blood of Jesus Christ”

Eph.1:7 – 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Jesus’ Death Conquered Death

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

John MacArthur says, we see the extent of Christ’s humiliation in His death.

Angels cannot die; but Jesus came to die. He went so far beneath angels that He did something that they could never do.

His death was not easy or costless. It was a suffering death. Christ’s exit from the land of the living was not calm and peaceful, but was accompanied by outward torture and inner agony.

The death He tasted was the curse of sin. What Jesus felt while dying on the cross was the total agony of every soul in hell for all eternity put together, suffered in a few hours.

All the punishment for all the sin of all time—that was the depth of His death. He was guilty of no sin, yet He suffered for all sin. WOW, how awesome Jesus is… Thank you Jesus

God sent His Son, and His Son willingly came, to die to redeem man. “But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the Law” (Gal. 4:4–5). Jesus Christ in His death purposed to die as a substitute for everyone. And it is only by the Son tasting death as a man for man that we are free from death. Historically, kings have had someone taste their food to protect them from possible poisoning. The cup of poison that belonged to us was drained to the dregs by Jesus Christ. He substituted His own death for ours and released us to live with God.”

jesus-cross

Hebrews 2:14-15 In as much then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

1 Cor.15:55-57 – 55“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus’ Death Causes Reconciliation to God

Romans 5:8-11 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Reconciliation means to return to favor with, to receive one into favor or to put someone into friendship with God.

Ephesians 2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

Colossians 1:19-22 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight.

This blog is covered by the blood of Jesus and every authority belongs to our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord. My prayer is for us to fully surrender to our Most Powerful King and have faith to the Lord Jesus by His blood.

I don’t want to insert this entry here, but it catches lots of my attention and it is important for us to be aware as soon as possible before attempting to engage with this thing…

What is behind the “Mind Control” Method?

We should first know the goal or objective behind the things unusual to us or to those belong to which called as paranormal before getting fascinated to them. And everything not normal to a human kind I consider it this way. This might sometime provides us good result and it seems helps us to a better way of everything.

We need to know their faith and teachings, and their main mission behind it. Not only in one aspect of their principles but as general. They might attracting people in one aspect that resulted good outcome but sometimes they are letting people to be engaged by this things little by little until BOOM, you can’t escape anymore.

Paranormal in “wikipedia” is a general term that describes unusual experiences that lack a scientific explanation, or phenomena alleged to be outside of science’s current ability to explain or measure. In parapsychology, it is used to describe the potentially psychic phenomena of telepathy, extra-sensory perception, psychokinesis, ghosts, and hauntings. The term is also applied to UFOs, some creatures that fall under the scope of cryptozoology, purported phenomena surrounding the Bermuda Triangle, and other non-psychic subjects. Stories relating to paranormal phenomena are found in popular culture and folklore, but the scientific community, as referenced in statements made by organization such as the United States National Science Foundation, contends that scientific evidence does not support paranormal beliefs.

Those people who teaches these kinds of methods claims that any person who will take the course will develop psychic powers. We all know a psychic power comes not from God, unless you disagree.

I have provided links below for you to read and always apply the blood of Jesus in everything. Explanations are found here:

“Not without blood”

“Everything has been done by the blood“

“All Power of Christianity is found only in the cross”

“The Blood of Jesus has a great Power”

Sunday, May 3, 2009, 10:27 PM

I am filled with so much joy today, it was fulfilling. I had an awesome church service earlier today, the message and every program of the church. Thankful to Jesus and Holy Spirit. And one of the reasons are visible to some people or to almost everyone in this world.

Well, I am not fond with boxing, however, my dad do. Every time the Philippine champ MP has a fight, he is always ready to watch and wants to be updated. Good for him he didn’t exchange Sunday’s service just to watch the champ’s fight (which always scheduled on Sunday morning in the Philippines, Saturday night in Las Vegas – fights’ schedules and place, accordingly).

pacquiao-hatton

Today in all over the world are watching the fight of two outstanding fighters in our time so called “the battle of the east and west, Pacquio vs. Hatton”. The message that Randy shared to us today has a bit connection with this fight, but not as a whole, just a parallel to what the world’s attention today

It was my brother, Ptr. Randy who shared the beautiful message of God to us. Wow Lord. It was so awesome… and You are so amazing Jesus…

I wanted to share the message also in here, but I guess and so sure it is too long to be placed as one entry so I better divide them into five, since there are four main points in the message and the other one which is this, includes my introduction and Randy’s intro too.

And ohhh… it is still about “the blood of Jesus Christ”

The text is found in John 19:30. It is a simple text but profound. Its implications are far reaching and enduring. This text tells us that Jesus had a task to fulfill.

It says: When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit

and…

Matthew 27:45-53: From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land. About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?”—which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.” Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a stick, and offered it to Jesus to drink. The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.” And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus’ resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

Randy entitles the message as “The Greatest Fight Ever in Human History”

jesus-dev

You can name all the champion of the ring, but there is only one real champion in human History who knocks down the worst opponent ever. Jesus is the real and no. 1 world and heavenly champion who gave eternal victory to whoever believes in Him.

Looking back the greatest fight happened ever in human history, our greatest champion, fearless fighter our Lord Jesus Christ our King…

Those three words, “It is finished” come from one Greek word tetelestai.

“The word tetelestai is unfamiliar to us, but it was used by various people in everyday life in those days.

The word means, “It is finished, it stands finished, and it always will be finished!”

“These words specify not the end of Jesus’ life, but the completion of His task. The verb tense is perfect. “It is finished!” The purpose of His hour has been completed, and the consequences of His work are enduring.”

“The debt is paid in full!” When He gave Himself on the cross, Jesus fully met the righteous demands of a holy law; He paid our debt in full.

What then do we learn about the completion of our redemption?

My next posts will do tells you.

The posting of the Revelation of Jesus blood shed series has not yet done. I still have 6 series to post. I will really try to finish posting them as soon as possible, right after posting all entries for “The Greatest Fight… “.

And 4 entries to go with The Greatest Fight Ever in Human History

The picture above are just a picture and there’s no big deal with it. It does not show the real face of Jesus. It does only used to visualized “like as”… Glory and honor belongs to our King, the Lord Jesus Christ…

It’s been a long time since I mentioned to write the series of Jesus’ blood that shed from His body.

When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation. He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Hebrews 9:11-14 (NIV)

All power of Christianity is found in the cross – not found in intellect, wealth and abilities.

How much do you know about the Cross?

The blood of Jesus has great power

“And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” Luke 22:44 (NKJV)

And here’s the first revelation of Jesus Blood…

In the Garden of Gethsemane

Great Drops of Blood

For Betrayal

Dr. Paul J. Taylor, Professor of religious studies in University of South Florida stated that: “Jesus had the weight of the world on his shoulders. Even before the crucifixion began, he clearly had physical symptoms associated with severe stress. The night before the execution, his disciples reported seeing Jesus in “agony” on the Mount of Olives. Not only did he not sleep all night, but he seems to have been sweating profusely. So great was the stress that tiny blood vessels were rupturing in his sweat glands and emitting as great red drops that fell to the ground. This symptom of severe stress is called hematohidrosis.”

Around the sweat gland there is a multiple blood vessel and because of the pressure, agony, anguish and stress, it leads to rupture.

This blood was shed specifically because of betrayal.

The deepest wound in the heart of every person came from their closest friend

Betrayal produces hurt, rejection, stress, anguish and agony

Jesus shed his blood so that we can have our hearts healed from betrayal and from those we have betrayed

Millennium year was a great year to everybody. It is the starting year for the real evolution. An unbelievable technology has been created for the convenience of people. More buildings have grown, new transportations were used by people; seems all like real new. Everything changed, not just technologies, lifestyle of the people, but most all it is our youth who absorbed great changes.

Not to mention, the way they dress today, how short for them is short pants, and how they literally mean mini-skirt as mini. Every single street, that we used to dropped by or just any dark corner looks like hotel or even motel well I do not mean it as the physical feature, what I mean here is the connotation of motel where PDA (Public Display of Affection) is rampant.

Where are our youths today?

It has been said that they are the carrier of transformation, positive transportation, and hope to our land, but seems like it’s the opposite. They are now in the wrong direction, full of wickedness and negative things like immorality, lust, violence, and early pregnancy. Losing virginity is not a big factor to them anymore, no more sacred sex!

Though it seems like we are hopeless, the church believe that people of Christ can create a transformation over our youth today. If you think it is impossible!! Tell you, it is not!

Just this march 21, 2009 @ 3 in the afternoon Panabo City, transformation has been made with a vision of creating generations, whose lives are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, whose passion is to worship God and live out the world and touching other lives for Jesus. This might bring a big question mark or a loud “huh???!!” to most of us, but yes it is true, because in Christ alone we can change.

God can and will rise up generation of young men and women, who will bring transformation and hope to this land. A positive character, a positive mind and positive vision would really mean positive youth.

The said March 21st, 2009 was a memorable afternoon for everyone who attended since it was the day when positive youth has been officially launched. That same day, Ptr. Randy Maniquez, our Youth Mindanao minister, shared some thoughts on how to be a positive youth.

There are three positive things that he shared: positive faith, positive lifestyle, and positive influence.

Having positive faith is being positive in thinking that will lead to positive result. How do we achieve this? It is through genuine faith in Christ, whole heartedly surrender everything. It is having true devotion without compromises, being loyal and solid follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is when you know God, you have faith in Him, and you will know His plans. You will be more aware of all negatives and that will give you refusal to do negative things.

The second positive thing might be difficult for youth, because positive lifestyle would requires understanding positive aspect of people and situation instead of just focusing on the negative aspects. Why can’t we just thank the good things that other people showed us and forget those negative and painful actions that they brought us?

You might say easier said than done, but we can start doing it today, meditate in the word of God and pray for that person.

Positive lifestyle would also mean taking care of Gods temple-our body. Avoid messing up with it. Do not fill it with alcohol instead fill it with Holy Spirit. Never play that smoky stick in your mouth; instead use your mouth to tell good news. Lastly, do not forget to keep your underwear on, wait for the right person and time that He created for you.

The last positive thing would be positive influence, which our youth usually do not have it today. Our society today provides future without God, a fact that can be really identified in the field of media. Media is the highest influence of our youth today.

Most of our TV shows today would show nudity! In radio, we can hear bad words and violence. Newspaper would always have violence journalism, yellow journalism, a sensationalize work! This is terrible.

Let us help our youth, let us be their influence, allow them to be closer in church so that they can have the good influence. We wouldn’t want them to be satan’s company because they don’t belong to him. Our youths belong to our Heavenly Father.

This is not a plain advocacy, this is more than advocacy, we are asking for support from the people of God, send us your prayers, and let us save our young minds in this negative world.

Bothered? There is always a reason to feel bothered. I don’t understand why I should feel this way, well in fact my heart supposedly will rejoice. How come? I am so confused today because I am sweetly broken. What is the connection of the two? I don’t want to write it in here but sweet words will really bothers me and yes will make me confused and will affects my feeling. I am so sorry, but let us stay this way, please? Until we really meet, can we be just friends? Words I told and expressed to you were really true, but as expected my feelings will bother myself. As I said there are always a right time and place for everything. Let us stick to that and God will bless both of us. I love you

This topic is all for you. I know you will read this sooner or later. I just wanted to give a space in here for you on your birthday.

Amazingly Done

I’m done with my task for today so I am just here waiting and wondering what topic will I going to write. Sigh! By the way I’m enjoying listening to one of the albums of one of my favorite Artists – Hillsong United – “Mighty to Save Album”…

I think I have now something to share before I will forget what God has done in me yesterday. Here it is:

amazing

Several days ago I was worrying of something (sorry will not specify them) and it makes me uncomfortable. I cannot describe but it really bothers me a lot and imagine I was carrying this burden for several days. It affects so bad to me and I really didn’t like it and will never like it. But Jesus said in Matthew 6:27-29 “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.”

I tried not to worry but yet the enemy was trying to deceive me. That causes me to look for a solution in every person I thought they could solve but I failed to find it to them and I cried. However, the word of God is so strong in the last day – “deadline”. I felt so hopeless. On that day, when I woke up in my quiet time, I pleaded for grace. I started not to think of the problem because it was planted on my mind that there will never be a solution unless miracle comes.

I went to the office with calmness and peace in my mind putting everything in Jesus hand, and yes He does things amazingly. My problem has been solved… It was so amazing. He uses someone amazingly and I never attempted to ask that person for a help. But Jesus did and spoke to that person’s heart… I am so thankful… You did it amazingly when there seems to be no way…

Oooops! I have to go… We will have a meeting so bye and God bless… 
